Our Committee
The committee of Little Midhurst Management Limited is made up of volunteers whom are both shareholders and residents of Barlavington Way and Poplar Way. They work together to administer the tasks required to meet the remit of the company, looking after the estate and supporting fellow shareholders and residents.
Nick Franklin - Chair
My wife Jude & I moved to Midhurst 3 years ago & we love living here. We feel that Midhurst offers the perfect blend of what we are looking for in a place to live. Rural enough for me & somewhere Jude can get a cappuccino! As I grew up on a farm in Wiltshire & Jude grew up in Winchester. We love living in Little Midhurst due to the individuality of all of the properties & we have felt incredibly welcomed since moving here. You may see me walking our wired haired vizsla called Rufus especially in the winter. In the summer you will probably find me down at the ruins playing cricket for Midhurst.
Hannah Raishbrook
Hannah has lived locally all her life and moved with her husband to Poplar Way sixteen years ago. Her two children Tilly and Leo keep her busy. In her spare time she enjoys spending time in her garden. Poplar way is a quiet and tranquil place to live with a most enjoyable community spirit.
Justyn Smith
Justyn’s travelled the world through his work yet Midhurst has always been a base ground for him. Having moved to Little Midhurst 14 years ago, not a day goes by where he’s not reminded of the how lucky he is to live with his family in the 'Heart of the South Downs'.
Little Midhurst with its design roots taken from the old town encompasses everything quintessentially English countryside with a sense of community. In nautical terms Justyn’s glad to be on the ‘Bridge’ helping to steer little Midhurst on a straight heading. Having recently ventured into the tourism industry in Midhurst Justyn with his family are active members in the local community.
Odette Marshall
Odette lived abroad for 24 years, in Italy, the USA but mostly Spain and returned to live with her mother in Barlavington Way some 19 years ago. Odette taught English at the Midhurst Intermediate School and later Midhurst Rother College until she retired 4 years ago. Odette is now an enthusiastic member of the U3A and wardrobe Mistress for the Midhurst Players. She love’s to be doing something creative and also enjoys the garden and is looking forward to helping keep Little Midhurst the beautiful place that we all chose to live.
Mimi Norgate
Mim moved into Little Midhurst in 2023 from Croydon in Surrey. She has 3 grown up children and 2 grandchildren. Mim joined the committee in December 2023 to help out where she can. Mim works full time as the Head of HR & Operations for a charity in central London where she's been for 9 years. Previously she's worked in several charities and private companies in similar roles. Mim looks forward to helping our little community be attractive and well looked after.
Simon and Lesley
Simon and Lesley met when they were both working at King Edward V11 Hospital and moved to Little Midhurst in September 2018 from Downsview Drive. Simon went to school in Midhurst and is a plumber working locally and therefore knows many of the community of Midhurst. Lesley is a nurse and works for a private cardiac clinic in Guildford. They have a blended family of five children (now all grown up), with one of Simons daughters and her partner also living in Little Midhurst. Simon and Lesley have volunteered to join the committee, with a view to supporting the current committee and bringing some skills and local contacts that will be useful in the future management of the Little Midhurst community and its facilities.
